Medical records are the records of the identity, examination, diagnosis, treatment, care and medical treatment given to patients to overcome her illness. Medical record has several menfaat good for doctors, patients and hospitals, among others:
1. Can be used as a reference of doctors and health workers in providing better health services in determining the diagnosis, provide treatment, medical treatment and subsequent care for patients.
2. Medical record is good, true, complete and clearly can improve health care for patients.
3. Medical record is good, true, complete, may make it easier for doctors and health workers in dealing with an illness.
4. Medical record is good, true, complete, can provide protection for doctors and health workers in the event of certain cases (the law).
5. Medical records can be informed about the progress of disease, treatment, medical treatment, especially for the development of science in teaching and research.
